Stipend Program |
PURPOSE: To promote attendance of the smaller fire districts at the AFDA Conferences. ELIGIBILITY: Any district official, elected or appointed, or their designate of districts with budgets of less than $100,000. APPLICATION: Submit a request on district letterhead, addressed to the AFDA Stipend Chairman. The request shall be signed by the Board Chairman or Fire Chief, and shall be received no later than 45 days prior to the conference. FUNDING: This stipend will be a maximum $200 per district, depending on the number of requests. APPROVAL: The AFDA Treasurer and Stipend Chairman shall review all applications and will grant approval 30 days prior to the conference.
